Well I got bad news I'm gonna have to say goodbye to SanB track Image

AND SAY HELLO TO 3DTRAINS SCALERAIL! Image

I did a test clone on the same route and this is what it turned out from ATSF Mainline Wood

Image

That cool with you guys?

Seriously? I didn't even know you can change tracks in a snap RSTools. It took me a while to get this track into Scalerail. Now I have a question. How on earth do I raise the tracks? I need about 0.37m.

I don't have the information handy, but I recall a command in RWTools which can do this.

I'm putting in some buildings, but I got alot lot lot of Empty space inside the layout. How do you want me to do dis? !*don-know!*

You want alot of trees? Buildings? you name it.

Trees would probably be healthier for the frame rate.

Yards usually don't have trees inside of them, or too many buildings for that matter. Place an engine repair area somewhere away from the main yard, an office (they have to do some paperwork), and crown the outside with trees.

Take a look at some yards in Google Earth and get a feel for how they put them together.

You need photos of actual rail yards. There's always a lot of clutter, oil drums, old railroad ties, rubble.

I've seen a few with clutter stuff. Don't wanna go to extreme.

Now we're talking about the yard, picture below, is it to much space? It was difficult to put the switches from that angle.

Yes your ladder is spaced too far apart. Make a scratch route and practice track work and texturing on it.

Well I ran into a issue. The Track is unleveled. The new track I'm laying is higher than the others. Now what?

Hmm....I think I have to figure this out. I know I know. I heard that bunch of times. Making routes takes alot of Trials and Errors. *!rolleyes!*

Update: Its pretty hard to do this right to match with this G Scale. This simulator...I don't think its that possible to match it because of the different angles I see in the video. So I will do my best to get this right. I just backed up way before the sceneries I added. So this is going to take alot longer than I thought. I'm not giving up! !!*ok*!!

Its not easy when I had to put it together. I'm trying to match it, but rw curves makes it difficult. But the other layouts I found should be easier for me.
