The route is what I paint, the terrain textures. No problem with asset painting it is done in Photoshop.

I know what you mean Bob. I can paint awhile, then I can actually hear the fans etc ramping up in my computer. Then I know it's time to hit F2 and maybe plant a tree or a little grass etc. Then my PC quiets down.
It's like it's been over eating and needs to burp. *!greengrin!*
In any case it's a built in software issue, no PC setup on Earth will fix it. Anyone that just drives or places and occasional building or something will never notice the problem, it's people that do more advanced things in TS that notice it. Reshaping and painting terrain until your butt hurts in the chair.

Anyhow, I'm glad to know it's not just me.

This is a solvable problem. It's one of these obscure settings somewhere. My free memory starts out at like 7250 and slowly goes down to around 5500 when I am doing a huge amount of texturing. However if I stop doing anything like to move my view it starts going back up. Windows is saving something that it doesn't need to be saving somewhere on you guys machines.
