Also nice to hear you are adding mileage to the Orin sub.

Thanks guys! Track is in up to Newcastle on the Black Hills Sub. This week I'll start extending the Orin Sub down to Reno Junction.

Geeze.... can this guy paint or what!!!!

Dang! He is good!... oh, wait...

Did a bit more work near Newcastle relating to the previous screenshot. Short video of a runby through the added scenery... not finished, incomplete scenery on North side of tracks only. At the end of the video is a brief glance at the start of placement of the refinery in Newcastle.

Wow Tomcat!
That video is great! You are too good! !*brav*! !*brav*! !*brav*!

I have a situation with this route, similar to what I had with the Bergen line a couple years ago. I had to get that Munich route to be able to enjoy Minnerman´s route.
Here I will need the Tehachapi.

Thank you jalsina!

I don't think you'll be disappointed with Tehachapi Pass once you take the plunge

The only thing I can think of is to verify the TS2018 installation until you get no missing files. I've haven't come across a situation like this where just about all the textures seem to be missing. I have seen routes where the textures are messed up but a verify cleared up the problem. Does Tehachapi Pass look okay if you start that?

Does anyone else have this problem?

There have been around 75 downloads of the route from MediaFire so far but no one else has mentioned any problems up till now, then again, I only have knowledge of 5 people who have installed it and report no issues that they have noticed.

LandN, what location is that where you posted the picture of the missing terrain textures? That way we can check which textures are missing, and what DLC they are from.

That was at MP 587. I think I have found part of the problem. I had Tehachapi Pass but didn't have it installed on my new computer. Here is a screen shot I took yesterday. The only thing missing now is the main line tracks.

The main line tracks are from the Tehachapi route as well. They are the 'BNSF - Mainline concrete' tracks from that DLC. I would load up your Tehachapi Pass route and make sure that those tracks are appearing in there.

Perhaps clear the cache also? !*don-know!*

Current state of the track. Orin sub extended down to Reno Junction including the 3 Black Thunder mine loops and Black Hills sub extended to Newcastle. Another month or so for me to throw in some basic scenery, track markers and such and it will be ready for a stage 2 release.

That airport would look even better with some TWA Super Connie airplanes in the background.

Some scenes around Western Gas Partners.

and on the opposite side of the tracks and Hilight road from Western Gas is Mgpc Hilight Gas Plant? I don't know exactly what function these things serve and Google Streetview (what few streets there are) along the Orin is of very poor quality so I winged it from satellite view.

Back on the Black Hills sub near Osage is Black Hills Power & Light.

Things are looking Good!

Are you going to have the plant in Osage active and rail served as it was pre 2011?

I hadn't given it any thought up to this point. I've done a tiny bit of rooting around and can't find much of anything on how it looked. You wouldn't, by chance, have any pictures of the track layout or a track chart?

Tomcat,

For reference, here is what I have laid out so far for the Black Hills High Line marker and terrain wise. Just need the expertise to build it.

Route overview. Full branch lines to Hot Springs and Keystone (the Keystone Branch is still in use today as a tourist line).
BHHL_Overview.jpg

South end, a small mainline segment around Edgemont, the Black Hills Ordnance Depot, and the start of the High Line.
BHHL_Overview_South.jpg

The northern end at Deadwood with the Kirk Power Plant and connection to Lead.
