Here are some screen shots from my latest work. I am heading my way to tunnel Number 2. These are near one of the Mines along the route.

No it was never a Narrow gauge route. I was doing a narrow Gauge route also. But that is on the back burner for now. This Virginia and Truckee Railroad route is standard gauge track. I am using Clear Creek Engines and rolling stock. The real route uses steam engines on the route along with some Diesel engines. This is going in the Workshop so I can only use Train Simulator 2016 Equipment. Once it is released everyone can use whatever rolling stock you want to.

I have made up to American Flats. I should be finished with this route sometime this month. These screen shots are from around Tunnel number 2.

99 percent of the route is finished. All I need to do know is to make a couple of scenarios and two Quick Drive Scenarios. Route should be up on the workshop by the Weekend.

Route is up on the Workshop. I stated that you will need six routes to run this. But when I uploaded it, it says you only need Five.

The Routes are Clear Creek-Colton and Northern-Feather River-Rascal and Cottonwood-Soldier Summit-Stevens Pass. Rascal and Cottonwood does not show that you need this route. So you may not need that one I am not sure.

I hope everyone enjoys this route. I am using Clear Creek Narrow Gauge Steam Engines on this Standard Gauge Track. It seem to work fine Remember you can only use Train Simulator 2016 assets to load it in the Workshop.

The real Virginia and Truckee Railroad uses a Baldwin 2-8-0 and a Baldwin 2-8-2 Steam Locomotive. Along with a GE 44-ton switcher Diesel Engine.

I plan on using the 2-8-0 Consolidation on my copy of the route. This comes closest to what is running there in real life.

Here is a video I made with my version of the route. All I did was copy the route so I could leave the original one alone if I have to update it before I make it final on the Workshop. I used the 2-8-0 Consolidation and a 1890 Passenger car I got from Trainsim.com by RPertuit.

Wow! What a super cool little route. I have visited Virginia City many times and I am looking forward to this short, but super sweet route. !!*ok*!!
