Those with the Adriana County route

Unread postby NStrains » Sat Aug 20, 2016 4:01 pm

Can someone modify, or help show me how to modify the track and scenery to achieve the track layout seen below. The lines in red are what I would like to add to modernize it some.
Thanks for any help!

I would if I was at my computer, but I'm half of Canada away from it. Someone else will, just give it some time.

You could also give it a shot yourself, read up on track building. Its rather easy. If your worried about messing the route up, you can make a clone of it first and try building on that as a practice.

Start a new route and play on it. Dont try to make a route, just lay tracks and stuff, then when you have some idea what your doing, make the addition to the other route.

Very true, are there many videos on the track building?

I was hoping one of the guys on here that have all ready done their own version would chime in.

Hey NStrains,

Here's a few pics of my progress to date...

These two show the bridge looking north right from the abutment where the original track ended. You can see some of the remodeling. The bridge is MP "Flathead".

Here are the Dash 9s heading south. I've redone the road next to the tracks as abandoned, just because it looked a little different. The county blocked it off for some reason.

Because I've taken out the grainery, the section of track in grey can be deleted. Trains from Delray to Clairborne will have no reason to use the bypass. Then I can re-align some of the track here.

As I mentioned in PM, thanks for taking a look at my idea on the Delray-Henderson bypass of Marlane. I think this overall bypass of Marlane for North and South bound trains from Henderson would make a world of difference in operating the ACRR as a more modernized and efficient shortline.

!!*ok*!! !*cheers*!
