Clear Creek Working Dual Gauge

Unread postby stationmaster101 » Fri May 13, 2016 9:12 pm

Decided to make the tracks in Golden working Dual Gauge since I'd like to beable to drive both narrow gauge and standard gauge inside the yard. Anyway I've started on the Denver side of the yard and will continue until I've reached the other end of the yard, Not sure if I'll beable to release the tile files for that area or not, so if someone could clear that up I'd really appreciate it. !!howdy!!

What would really be fun is if some enterprising soul would extend the route all the way to Denver Union Station. Now something that's likely to ever happen, but I can dream. *!lol!*

If I knew the area more I could give it a shot, but as of now I couldn't find any pictures for the time period of that area

Well the route looks good anyhow. Very atmospheric, and sort of makes me want to see what this game is capable of instead of just placing two sidings/and or houses per day.

There are several re-worked DLC routes available through Steam Workshop, so my uneducated guess is that releasing your version there would be legitimate. Why not try doing a partial rehab, submit it to Workshop, and see what happens? Numerous routes there are marked WIP, so if your work is accepted you could finish up the modification later.

Just out of curiosity, is the dirt texture a custom terrain texture? Something like this would be ideal for the Australian route I started a while ago, but haven't touched much in the last few months due to mental exhaustion mainly.

I don't live in Australia i live in America but i love the country because it is so much like America. I think an Australian route would be awesome. I would do it but I'm already committed to finishing the Willamette pass route for everyone so if there's any one out there with extra time this would be an easy project.

Australia is NOTHING like America. The flora, fauna, geology, and biology is different than any other place on this Earth. It is a uniquely awesome land which has tamed humanity more than humanity has tamed it.

and where is your spell check?

Have you thought about turning on the spell check on your browser so we can figure out what the heck you are talking about?

I can translate it pretty well.
Come on, guys. English might not be his first language. Just be patient.
And don't give me the whole "He lives in America, he should know English"

Not to belabor the point but if you look back I opened your first post that started all this in edit and using the spellcheck that is on my Firefox browser that runs the spell check as you type I fixed all the spelling errors in perhaps thirty seconds. Would you just give us the courtesy as we go forward of doing the same thing.

I will but i do not use Firefox i find it unreliable on my computer , i am using google spell check now though. But i would like to ask about the Montana link rail
project, where can i download it or is it even finished. I ask this because i have heard so many awesome things about it, as well as it is one of my favorite railroads.

The quick answer is the track is pretty much finished but we have hundreds of miles of scenery to put down. When the two of us working the Livingston to Billings section get that down we will release as a beta. In the meantime anyone who wants to help on the scenery let me know. We have a serious method so multiple people can work on different sections at the same time. If you want to talk further please take it over to the thread in the route design that's already going or PM me.
