Just finished the CW-8 Test free roam in 3hrs & 3 min and 174.91 m (281.49 km). No problems West of Coonana except for the lack of speed boards, especially when going from 90 mph to 60 mph with no warning. As for the problems listed above, a few more details. The first group was 25 miles East of Coonana (several here), the next one 2.5 miles from there and the worst one was 3.5 miles from there. There were two more about 75 miles from Coonana and 7 more 5 miles East of there. Don't know what you were testing on the CW-8, but I couldn't get 90 mph out of it. 76 was about the max. There is also a pretty bad hump close to the end (sorry I didn't get an exact location.)

Daniel,

I have just been installing it over the old updates, but all of them have been showing up in the RW Installer. I was going to ask Otto if I needed to uninstall the older versions. I was thinking maybe that was why the scenario with the BNSF units wasn't working.

Daniel,

I missed part of your post. There is a place on the RS Utilities program to uninstall programs as well as install.

Daniel,

I tried the Freighter-Head East 2PS6 scenario yesterday. Still had the same problem at Curtin. The Westbound train was sitting at the distant signal and would not move.

I don't know how to build a Quick Drive, but I wish I knew how to correct a problem I have. Only four of my routes are showing up in my Quick Drive menu.

Daniel,

Ran your Ex Kalgoorlie Westbound yesterday and the trackwork and roadbed look good. 45 M (72.4 Km) to the end of track. Looks like all those people at the loop were looking for the passenger train. I was going to drive it, but the door to the loco was locked.

On another subject, maybe someone can talk Michael into letting them into relettering his Budd RDC car for the Australia National.

Daniel,

Michael Stephan is the one that did the original New Haven line, as well as the GN Great Falls route and numerous addon assets.

Ran the "Freeroam from Zanthus (which actually began in West Koolgarrie) yesterday in 3:44 and 194.45 Miles (312.94 Km). Found one place that I somehow missed before 9.92 Miles (15.97 Km) from the start where the track was covered. Also there were three pretty bad humps in the track between Kitchener and the end of track. Other than that, everything looked good. Lots of AI track in this one. Picked up 5 more locos in the yard and ran it as a light engine deadhead movement.

Daniel,

That was a typo. Meant to say AI trains. Sorry about that.

Daniel,

You were asking in one of your posts about what to add next. I was doing a little research and found out that Zanthus had an airstrip, a hospital and a railway station. They would be nice additions along with any other homes and structures located there.

Daniel,

I realize that, but every little bit helps. Incidentally, where is this coal mine that you mentioned a while back?

Daniel,

OK, I was thinking Parkeston was an electrical generation station. Sorry about that. In one of your earlier posts you mentioned a trip that involved 10 hours out and back. Where did this train go to load? Also, during my on-line research, I learned that one of the loops was actually listed as a sheep station (I don't remember which one). This would be interesting to model as I am sure there a few buildings there along with sheep pens and fencing, etc. Where the sheep shipped out by rail? If so you would need loading pens.

Thanks for the video Daniel. Very enjoyable. Couple of questions however. Not all of the freights had a crew car attached, were they running with a single crew? Also, I noticed that some of them that did had a car with tanks on it between the locos and the crew car. What was the purpose of this car?

Is this route a no-go now?

Since the last post was over a year and a half ago, more than likely.
