My proposal got published on Engine Driver today, and it seems like there are many others looking to get this route!

Do you guys agree?

I love the idea of the cascads stock, and a route to match. Since Seattle-Tacoma has already been made, I would prefer to see another area of the corridor. Bellingham to Vancouver, Tacoma to Chehalis, or perhaps Portland to Eugene. Just my $0.02

Portland to Centralia would be nice, as I'm most familiar with that area.

From living in Auburn (South of Seattle about 30 miles) If you want a good route then i suggest that DTG makes their own version. Its very nice to transition from Seattles Skyscrapers and Factory's to the Tacoma Seaport and then the majestic woods of Napavine. I think the ENTIRE Seattle sub (Portland Oregon to Seattle Washington) should be made if you want the feel of the route. It would make a nifty freight route too with Garbage trains, Mixed Freight, Locals (Both BNSF and UP Share track from Portland to Tacoma and from Tukwilla to Seattle) Aswell as

THE

PERFECT

BLEND

Of everything! Road Freights, locals, Road Switchers, Crews 2-10, Belt Railroads, Shortlines, and even a tourist railroad (Run by a family friend of ours, Harold Borovec).

If you want the Seattle sub to come with the cascades then i recommend the entire Seattle Subdivision!

I've started modeling this line but inconsistent terrain data stopped me in my, well, tracks.

I'm consistently amazed at how bad the workflow is for terrain.

If you've ever used (or wanted to use) ReDem, I hear that major changes in the works. :D
