Who is going to purchase TSW4

Looking to see if there is any enthusiasm for TSW4. I have heard that if you own TSW3 there is a 25% discount when checking out.

I can confirm the 25% loyalty discount and purchased the Standard Edition for $37.49 today. Although I am looking forward to the Antelope Valley Line, it's the new features like the editor and free roam that I'm the most enthusiastic about in TSW4. I rarely buy games Day 1 on Steam, but this deserved it considering everything they added to the sim. I wanted to reward them for finally coming through on their promises and in return I got rewarded for my loyalty. Win-Win situation! *!greengrin!*

Considering the discount and the claim it would have an editor, I went ahead and purchased. I guess some would say good money after bad but hey, won't be the first bad decision I've made in my life.

Pretty sure I only need one more bad decision and I'll have the whole set.

Not I.
Once bitten (with TSW mark 1) and very much disappointed - more hype than substance and my joints ache with climbing in and climbing out just to couple up and I only managed 2 hours in 5 years. Smacks of desperation by DTG only 5 years old and 4 versions........ Nah, TSC is much more friendly and has a community of doers rather than (it seems) a community of whiners.

There is a couple of North American passenger routes included in some of the bundles otherwise it is European passenger service. I don't see any big diesels or long freights included. Some of the older content can be ported over to TSW4. Some of this content will not be supported by some of the new visual components.

Thanks much for posting that link! I had not seen that overview before.

Great to see that DTG carry on the tradition where add-ons previously purchased in older versions of TSW generally automatically forward into the latest. (With a couple of noteworthy exceptions such as the Amtrak switcher which disappeared completely).

Very excited about the editor!

Cheers,
Michael

I passed on 2, 3 and (to get the hat trick) on 4 also. My wife can waste my money without DTG doing it.
