TSW - Rush Hour

TSW - Rush Hour

Unread postby ozinoz » Sun May 02, 2021 5:30 pm

I am not sure when the official announcement of the new iteration of TSW was due to be made - TSW - Rush Hour, but details were seen late yesterday, including screens, of teh new routes and included rollingstock etc.

It seems the new version will include the US NEC from Boston to Providence, the UK London Victoria to Brighton (full route) and a German route out of Dresden. Not sure where the teased UP Utah route fits into all this.

All looks very nice, but get back to me when there is steam (which I understand has been teased; but it will be British dinky kettles and a long way off, but I guess it is a start)

!*cheers*!

I saw that leak today too. I don’t know much about the German route, but the NEC and Brighton routes certainly grabbed my interest. I think the Victoria - Brighton route may be one of the longest yet in TSW?

September has come early?

The console sales model continues? But perhaps also an update to a newer version of the game engine which needs the assets to be cooked all over again.

Rushing against the passenger streams on busy commuter lines seems like a proper gaming mode for once, more exciting to console players than loading coal probably.

For those of us who have missed it, the Internet never forgets: http://web.archive.org/web/202105020705 ... d/rushhour

May 4 there will be the official announcement. The new 'dynamic passengers' Rush Hour routes come with the new game version you'll have to buy. The core game updates are free to existing users, but wether any new features will be applied retroactively to the DLC you already own? Means upgrading, recompiling and cooking of even more UE4 assets.

Looking out for Run8 v3 with anticipation.
