In coincidence with the release of Main-Spessart Bahn the core CSX:HH game has been updated to allow its integration.

Change log still outstanding ...

According to https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsw-update-notes.15077/, the following has been fixed, mainly because some of those German trains are now interoperable between the new route and Ruhr Sieg Nord, the game is now at build 551:

22nd of February 2019:

An update following the PC launch of Main Spessart Bahn to address issues identified by the community.

DB DoppelStockwagen Control Car

- Fixed passenger Door Selector switch not allowing doors to be locked when in the "Unlock All/Both" position

DB BR 143

- Fixed a bug which prevented the BR 143 from opening passenger doors when swapped in as an AI train, resulting in service mode coming to a stop with blocked trains behind any 143s.

Route

- Fixed a missing scenario start marker for the "Doppelstock Delivery" scenario when exploring Gemünden in Service Mode.
- Fixed various collision boundary issues.

DB BR 146.2

- Fixed an issue where the BR 146.2 from the Main-Spessart Bahn route incorrectly presented as available for Freight duties on Ruhr-Sieg Nord route.

-------------------------
Still no word on the promised US Diesel physics update, but since the USA should be next in line for a new DLC, perhaps the update to CSX:HH and NEC:NYC and GP40 pack will come with that new DLC.

I don't know who's playing this however it seems their (DTG) interest is more Eurocentric nowadays than USA oriented.

DTG is probably putting their efforts in the markets where there are the least of problems to be expected and maximum return of investment.
Not having the BNSF license means many of the most iconic USA routes (ATSF TransCon) and trains (Warbonnet F-units pulling the Super Chief, etc) are off limits.

There aren't that many US passenger train operators willing to license their trains to a UK company?

Console hardware limitations and console players (span of) interests perhaps require short and exciting routes and scenarios, no hours of trundling along at 30 MpH or racing through bland deserts?

It could even be DTG has finally come to the conclusion UE4 and Simugraph are not well suited to the 120 car trains with DPU needed to re-create modern US freight railroading?

The next DLC in line should be USA again, so that will give some insight in DTG's market research as to route and train selections.

Can only hope the next DLC is USA oriented!

I'm thinking the next DLC will be "historic" American. The US should be next in the release rotation, and they haven't done a historic-themed American route for TSW yet.

A passenger service for sure I suspect.
