LOL, what kind and amount of market research resulted in this?

Will it be void of any life and movement?

It is certainly void of trains lmfao. Only M7? Nice one DTG, then they can make people spend more money on the train people actually want to run (DE/DM30AC with Kawasaki cars).
Didn't they learn their lesson with Rapid Transit?

Also nice, another route at 42 miles. Sure not proving anything here.

All things considered, I'm glad they didn't remake the m8's at least.

It's so tiring to see the constant, seemingly obligatory, negative comments about a product that none of you have to buy.

I may not buy this new route - I'm hoping for some TSW steam someday - but this looks like a nice new route. Good job, DTG.

I always welcome new routes, but would really like to see some US western desert routes.

Not EVERYTHING needs to be in the south western US. Personally I'd like to see something from oregon, but that's just me...
I'm open to any new content at this point.

There are not any southwestern routes yet for TSW. Am curious to see how they will look with the unreal engine.

Why not something midwest for once? This region has been completely disregarded by DTG.

Apparently, DTG's market research found that a commuter route will attract the most buyers? !DUH!
At the moment, TSW is little more than a train cabin control desk simulation.

I think this kind of routes will sell well to the console players for it has more start and stop action in a relatively short run.
I don't think the typical console player has the stamina to sit through a 2 hour operating session over a long mountain pass. Using a clunky hand held controller doesn't allow for intricate train handling needed to avoid a stall, runaway or string lining your train.

We'll have to wait and see if DTG's market research proved right and the route will sell as DTG intended. TSW surely could need a good sales boost.
