Thank you for putting up the link. Nice to see DTG are releasing more info on the editors..

No word on the EULA, who owns what, and Epic fees.

So, if you want to lay track, you need access to the source files to bend and stretch it? Or is it all cooked fixed track pieces, much like a model train set?

Interesting article... and it will be interesting to see what form the final editor takes. But, I'm glad to see DTG is finally releasing more "development" information to the community.

Open street maps will be available to use as well as GE.With the current problems with GE api's I am glad to hear that.

It's not really any difference to TS2019 really. You can make your own track data or you can use the ones that come in DLC items (which then means someone needs to own those DLC to run your route - same as TS2019).

Track is laid much the same as TS2019 too, straights, curves, with points auto-creating based on the way you join things together.
