Have anyone noticed, that, there are no elderly people included in the sim ?
If they are included, I have not seen any.

Both the Lafayette Route and the yet to be released MRL have a dog here and there.

I would rather DTG sort out the core issues, than stand around the water cooler discussing how they can add diversity or "pride" (another good English word gone south) to the sim.

In any event, it's still an improvement over MSTS where if you were lucky to see any (static) people on the platforms, they seemed to have come out of the same cloning tank.

To bring a route to life there should be moving cars, people, animals, waving flags, drifting litter, etc. Are these easily programmed in UE4, or will they only add more scripted event that burden the core game engine?
Is TSW properly multi-threaded now DTG moved to a newer UE4 version?

Creating convincing looking animated people figures is no mean task, one need standing, walking, sitting, talking, working and all kinds of other positions. Plus group interaction on platforms, near ticket vending machines, snack counters, phone booths (?), etc. No doubt this has already been done in the various open world action games that run on UE4.

I'd wish DTG would licence GTA V's "peds" to get all sorts of people covered in TSW *!lol!*

Let them first sort out the weather, clouds, sky etc.

All in due course I hope.

GTA San Andreas (2006) actually had people moving round and interacting autonomously with each other and their environment (usually shooting the heck out of each other). Of course they did sometimes look like they were out of the cloning tank, particularly the Ballas etc. gang members. So it shouldn't really be that difficult in 2017...

One minute, folks complain about graphics overload; the next, they want more graphics content. Remember that old saw about having your cake and eating it, too? How about being thankful for passengers who actually enter and exit the coaches instead of just popping in and out of sight?
