This is the Twitch Stream, you need to skip through the first 5 minutes of absolutely nothing, until it starts.

This left me only lukewarm, lots of eye candy, little substance and still lots of things to do for DTG.

Anyway, will know more by same time tomorrow. Will check CSX first if any upgrades have been made to the many issues still outstanding.

I personally was not surprised to see they still don't know how to get their physics engine to work with Diesel Electrics yet. 50 Amps off the Alternator in Notch 2 at 20 MPH on a Class 66? You'd think that for the 66 being on home territory, they'd be able to get it right.

In the meantime, I've read around on ts.com, ukts and german boards. Reception of TSW:GWE was lukewarm across all the boards. Looks OK in the locomotives and rolling stock, but scenery and landscape too sterile.
No shadows, no occlusion, very limited draw distance, poor sounds, particles, lifeless in general. Then, still wonky physics while too much attention is given to swinging hoses and wobbling passageways.

Even fanbois are remarkable quiet, everybody waiting for their personal hands on tomorrow evening.

A little disconcerting is the admission of DTG on the difficulty in creating editors and building tools. No doubt breaking open the fixed and closed UE4 file hierarchy is no mean task with many hurdles still to overcome. However, most agree the future of TSW as the successor of TS17 depends on it.

I just can't believe they jumped off the bridge and put all this time and effort into this without apparently a thought to being able to modify things. I've been involved in a few design fiascos in my days in the plastic molding business but nothing that wasn't fixable. This just seems to be getting more and more into the weeds with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Wished I hadn't upload mine. I got some really nasty comments. Blocked out by my filter.
