Nice article. I inquired to DTG about the hump facilities operation for TSW users, if we could shove cars for classification. Their response was "NOT AT THIS TIME".
That's too bad. I could spend hours in the hump yard. !*don-know!*

The thing that surprised me is that DTG haven't included a CSX Switcher as one of the dedicated locos included with the base game, that would have been excellent, I hope one is on the drawing board, an MP15, or, SW1500, would go down rather well on this route, personally speaking. !!*ok*!!

Very good point. I'm guessing this would be a very popular locomotive to model.

Correct, SD40-2s too nowadays.

Well noted. GP38-2s are regularly used for switching duties and the standard power assigned to Cumberland hump and classification yards are 2400-series SD40-2s. I don't believe CSX has used end-cab switchers at Cumberland (or elsewhere on Sand Patch) in a long time.

Could be a nice throwback though.

Future motive power additions depend on what other CSX routes will emerge or wether we will go back in time when SW type locomotives were still common in yards, and when there were a lot more yards in operation.

Cumberland is the yard at one end, but what about the other end of the route? Without a working hump operation, I don't think a large yard will hold the average players interest for long.

We'll know in less than a week what the first installment of TSW has to offer.
