Honestly, right now I'd prefer something halfway useful with the promise of future updates. Just give us SOMETHING, anything that lets us edit even minor aspects of the game would be a huge improvement. Even a bare-bones scenario editor would add a huge amount of replayability.

Come on! Admit that if DTG came out with "something halfway useful", you'd be back here in a flash griping about it. I'd like to see some scenario making tools, too, but would prefer until that something is, well, let's say better than the TS "Timetable Editor", the very name of which is extremely outdated.

He has only ever said that statement once...

I did try to substitute an FBX exported C39-8 body for the body of the ES unit in TSW, but it would not display properly. I lost interest after that and returned to good ole TS2018.
With the way the editor in UE4 is set up, and looking at the way the TSW files are set up, I kind of wonder if locomotives and rolling stock will be bound to the worlds that are created in UE4? In other words, if you are going to create a locomotive for TSW, you are pretty much going to have to create everything - locomotive, rolling stock, and route? If that is the case, then waiting for editing/export tools is futile - you will simply have to create an independent "game" of your own.
