Computer specs are 4Ghz I7,16 megs ram and a GTX960 with a Z97 MSI motherboard. Not good.

Which graphical setting were you running at? Hopefully that was on High or Ultra..

I'm running at High and get 31-40fps. No AA though, it still looks fine.

1 - I'm on an i7-6700K (and you can bet I'll have an i7-7700K as soon as possible) with 2x 1080, on 4K. I get 20-35 fps and I won't settle for it.
2 - I don't play with a keyboard or some stupid xbox controller, I want a real throttle in my hands. I need to be able to assign axis. One would think that in 2016 and with an unreal engine that's easy enough to implement?

It's safe to say this 'beta' doesn't even qualify as a beta. a beta should be close to release-ready, with some minor bugs to iron out. This is far from it. Still I see 1 thread of my CPU being used ~90% (wich to me just means the 100% spikes are to fast to be registered). While my GPU's are used ~60%. To me this just looks like a simple port from one engine to another.

Rest assured I'll stick to TS2017 if this keeps up. In fact, I'd rather see TS move from DX9 to DX10 or DX11 than having to play TSW as it is now.

There isn't anything to see other than what you have already seen from DTG.

Some people using GTX 960s report having better performance. Those cards use open-GL. The high end cards are using DX-12. Could that be the issue? Just a thought

Good news for me. I've got a 970. :-)

But I'm sure there is optimization left to do both by DTG and by the card makers as well. Shouldn't be hard. After all, this is a well used game engine.

Been watching this TSW thing, almost took the bait and bought the pioneers addition. Thought I'd regret not getting it but my computer has a bit less snot than most of you guys, now I don't. I wouldn't have even been able to enjoy it. Really hope this thing gets turned around, the concept is great. I will plan though to get it on Xbox one... I've grown out of the PC thing a bit, get tired of upgrading constantly.

Good luck to you all and keep us posted!

P.S. Derek if you need some Xbox testers I'd be happy to help! *!greengrin!*

Not good for me so far. Keep getting a fatal error after when making an account and hitting continue, the loading screen freezes and crashes. Can someone help?

I've gotten several error messages during the install. Suggest you do as I did and send a detailed message to DTG Support.

I must be super lucky to be able to play it at least. I do wish ya'll could see it. It's both amazing and -some word that goes here-.

Totally impressed, it feels more alive if that makes sense. When I added rain to one scenario I really didn't feel like wandering out 'into it' as I'd rather stay in the cab where it seemed to be cosy, dry and warm. Not had one crash on my i2500K, 8GB RAM and an Nvidia 970.

1. FPS is low and likely to be improved once they get into the final weeks before release, afaik they haven't probably done much in this department to optimize this as most games wait until closer to release. Still, would certainly be nice to see a boost.

2. TrackIr, rail driver and the ability to use more controllers at or just before release please :).

I started with EA Rail Simulator, then Railworks, somehow missed MSTS, and I am happy to be at the start of this new venture.
