after 10 years of railsimulator development, do we now have in TSW: Better sound effects, much better performance, far superior graphics even at lower end settings, amazing true to life physics, proper working signalling system, intelligent AI, human characters in areas other than railroad property both adult & children, particle collision effects (smoke that does not appear to go through solid objects) tunnels without white shiny bands in them and of course tunnel occlusion

I played now 6 hours on a fairly underpowered PC, but it is fun ... all the dev tools wil come, certainly and additional DLC will come. The lack of it is no reason to say it failed. DTG did a huge job.

There are several companies here in the US (FRA certified) and in Europe that specialize/consult in computerized railroad physics and dynamics. DTG only need to inquire...

That's not OR or Run8 is it?

If I recall correctly Marc did some asset creation for a RCL Beltpack training simulator about.... 7-8 years ago? The one BNSF uses for locomotive engineers (that looks like a potato but has the best physics (for obvious reasons) is made by Corys out of France. They wouldn't know butts about how anything sounds, but since they actually worked with GETS and BNSF on the simulator, you have accurate operations and 1:1 performance physics wise.

Did I see a RailDriver in use by one of the simple desktop simulators?

More than likely, look here at a Crossrail training classroom in the UK.

This effective system comes in around £25,000 a set including support.
