TSW build 761 "The Final Chop"

TSW build 761 "The Final Chop"

In anticipation of the June 18 launch of the final DLC for TSW1, my game is in the process of being updated with 4.8 GB of data.

I have been able to watch some files being passed around inside the Steam/steamapps/downloading folder and the binary patching going on.

"Today we are bringing an update to Train Sim World 2020, this adds support for the upcoming BR Class 20 Loco Add-On, as well as an additional fix to an existing add-on. Please find the full update log below:

- Adjustments to the BR Class 47 simulation model, featured in Northern Trans-Pennine, to address instances where the loco could become severely underpowered. "

That's all folks, enjoy before the whole game will be 'preserved' in its present state.

My question is about the "Preserved state of the files". Apparently the update to TSW2 will be a payware, so will the TSW 2020 exe be preserved as well if we opt to pay for the TSW2 update/upgrade?

TSW2 us a separate thing, so it won't affect anything you already own. DTG have said that everything you own in TSW will be brought over, except NEC and it's related addons - GP40-2, SW1000R + Metroliner cab car - due to technical difficulties. Preserved content will be compatible with the scenario planner (quick drive, but you can control AI basically) but not with the new paint editor. Not everything will be preserved at launch, and they have posted the first two months' worth of content to be brought over. Image
