TSW build 712 "M3 stands for More (of the same?)"

My game received a 458 MB update to prepare core and LIRR route for the coming of the M3 EMU.

Dmitri the developer and community manager left DTG, so one more vacancy is now open at DTG Towers.

Found a change log:

"Train Sim World 2020 Update – 12 May 2020

Today we are bringing an update to Train Sim World 2020, this update brings an update to the ‘Cutting the Cars’ Scenario included with the MP15DC loco as well as suitable core changes to enable the upcoming LIRR M3 EMU. Please find the full list of changes below:

- Resolved an issue in the ‘Cutting the cars’ scenario, where switches would become unusable outside of the 2D Map view.

The update will download automatically for everyone over the next 48 hours."

Of course, Kanawha, you failed to mention the related real news, which is the release of the LIRR M3 today. I believe those in the community who give it a go will find it an exceptionally good product.

There still are a lot of issues with the route, like platform clearance I remember, that will prevent me from buying any expansion for it, no matter how good it might look in some eyes.

Draw distance, funny popping shadows, self illuminating cab interiors and exteriors in long tunnels, lights neither shining nor emitting, poor sound, missing or failing occlusion, RailDriver support, that's only on the technical part.

Sterile and empty world, repetitive and boring game play without real incentive or reward, like unlocking even more rainy weather, a chance of malfunctioning safety systems to test your driving skills, whatever to give yourself a challenge when you've run back and fro on all the Services.

There is still hope for a free roam mode, free train and path editor, mutli player with a dispatcher, an actual business model in passenger transportation ...

In the meanwhile, the intrepid Czech hacker is making progress unlocking all kinds of features, hopefully VR (built into the UE4 game engine) too.
