Although I would be hyped to see the Pacific Ocean in UE4. It's a gorgeous route.

I would definitely be hyped for that, even though I don't use TSW.

GSkid wrote:The survey was a little janky with a couple questions, but I answered it as best I could. For new routes I chose Tehachapi Pass, the LA to San Diego Surfliner and the Kansas route. As for user suggested routes... I said MRL's Mullan Pass. The thing I noticed most about these route suggestions was their TS2019-level lengths shuttle paris transfer. The TSW route lengths up to now have been fairly short. That's promising

The fact that the deluxe edition includes all the routes for $30, gives you a pretty good idea of where they are sales numbers-wise with TSW. It does however in effect replicate the Traim Simulator model of getting multiple routes included in the price of the base sim..... which is a good thing for the consumer. My problem is that beyond CSX Heavy Haul and the Northeast corridor, I have no interest in the other routes currently offered.

I am glad they are at least asking us for their input and I hope it leads to fruitful things.

Well, good luck for your next raid. We wish you the

I think it’s becoming obvious that they have no clue how to make a functioning editor for this game engine and we won’t see one any time soon.

I don't know why they don't just publish instructions on how to make TSW routes and assets using the good ol' UE4 editor.

Hard to compete when they're likely to force you into exclusive publishing for certain types of products.

There's nothing preventing anybody from downloading UE4 and building your own route. All the tools are there - plenty of tutorials - plenty of content in their marketplace. Go for it.

In response to the poster above: if it's so easy to use the UE4 editor, then how would you go about setting up track structure and road structure? Fences? There's over a hundred different components to route building, so if it's easy to do so, then the editor would have been out by now. Since the haven't released an editor (which isn't even their technology to begin with), then my interest in TSW other than occasional route purchases is ZERO.
