With 64 channels max and poor attenuation, good luck with that.

Anyone notice a change in the rolling sounds of the coal hoppers. I have noticed a lower volume of the clacks and no rolling wheel sounds at all since the last update. Check scenario N536 with the AC4400.

Someone on the Train Sim World forum has found the answer to what got botched with the last update. If you have an backup of the previous Train Sim 'World, before update, you can try the fix located on Train Sim World Forum.

Unfortunately I do not. I did a clean install and do not have a backup. I started a ticket with DTG and referenced the solution that you saw. I do not know what good that will do.
