That is NOT a DTG document. It comes from here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NECSimDevelop/

Thanks for clearing this up. I don't follow Facebook very closely.
My apologies for creating any confusion.

We'll have to wait for DTG's plans. On all boards and forums, the thrashing continues, it's maddening and saddening at the same time.

Do you own sandpatch or the GP40? I was curious if you can run services with other owned loco's on this route.

Without a consist and scenario editor the answer is NO.

I wonder if this NY route comes with its own GP38 or uses the GP38 from the base CSX:HH package?

If you own the CSX GP40-2 DLC it does indeed appear in and can be operated on the NEC route (see screenshot below).

Just to complete the topic, the SD40-2 and AC4400CW do not presently appear on the route.

A GP40 will probably substitute for a GP38 in the freight Scenario

Hi OldProf:

Two ways when you own the GP40-2 ...

- In the freight scenarios, GP38-2s and GP40-2s (in various liveries) will be randomly assigned to the trains. If you play a given scenario several times, you'll likely have different mixes of power.

- Also, there are sets of diesels positioned at several places on the route (Oak Point Yard, Fresh Pond Yard, and, I believe, Harlem River Yard). If you go to these locations "on foot," you can climb aboard and use the power in what is essentially (to use TS terminology) a "free roam" environment and make-up a consist, do some switching, and/or make a run between Oak Point and Fresh Pond for example.
