Reading route date slippage

Not sure how many here are into the UK scene, but a date slip has been announced for the new Reading route and CSX patch.

At least they are holding it back to address issues instead of trying to patch on the fly...

Seriously as noted in the main thread about this version, after experience with the CSX edition not ordering this until I've seen some unbiased reviews so doesn't matter if it gets postponed until Christmas. (I'm far more interested in the Chur to Arosa forthcoming route for TS2017). Driving a HST or Class 166 with arcade physics over a flat 36 mile route is not high on my train simming priorities. Unless of course the delay is to re-hash the physics and get it right this time.

When I was in high school, we used to play a game called "What the ambassador is saying ...", so I'm going to try "What DTG is saying":

Original statement: "As you know, we’re approaching the final stages of Train Sim World: Great Western Express development and we’re aware just how excited you all are by the prospect of passenger mode, new and exciting timetables and high-speed travel in all their Train Sim World glory. So, we’re going to extend the pre-order period to give everyone more time to take advantage of the pre-order discount and have therefore moved Train Sim World: Great Western Express to release on September 14th."

What DTG is saying: "Development has hit a snag or two and pre-orders have been fewer than expected, so everyone who accepted our original terms will just have to wait a month longer."

I'm a fan of TS and TSW, but not of corporate double-talk. I don't really mind waiting another month or so, but shouldn't I get interest on my investment?

This is so ridiculously patronizing even by DTG's standards. Is it really so hard to say "we need more time to make sure everything is done and polished"?

I agree with you - very much like real estate descriptions of a property:
Cozy — means very small
Old world — old but not antique.
Charming — Small, quirky and weird.
Full of character — There's a toilet in the kitchen.
One of a kind — Maybe there's a reason they only made one?
Rustic — Run down
Great location/close to nightlife — You live above a bar.
Needs TLC - falling down a money pit.
