Trev
I'll add to that - you will also need 16GB of RAM installed to run this successfully. TSW is using between 5 - 7 GB of RAM on my rigs PLUS around 2GB for Windows. Having just 8GB of RAM on board may give rise to major slowdowns as the system may have to use the paging file.

Probably not, it is only about 3.2% less.

You can always apply for a refund of TSW within 2 hours of accumulated gameplay when the game won't load or performs unsatisfactory.

Enough with pushing the refund stuff. I walk into a bar in Manhattan for two pints of Guinness and a shot of Jameson and it costs more than this game. People want to run this game off of 5 year old shelf bought comps, not going to happen.

I see Model RR locos going for what you could build a good system for. Pay thousands for a real layout or pay 1thousand for a comp to run multiple routes and locos and everything. If not buy a kiddie XBox with crappy graphics and everything.

I know people can't can't blow their load all at once but PLEASE stop bitching about it. Game runs fine with the right stuff, not the fault of company but within yourself.

And yea, my system is about 5 years old except for my EVGA GTX 980.

I always buy EVGA because they are meant to overclock. Overclocking is key. I put my 3.2 Intel To 4.0 from day one and still going strong with liquid cooling.

The great thing about EVGA is it's meant to be overclocked. Motherboard, graphics card, whatever. You can set it on fire and they will replace it. Theses other companies you void the warranty if you overclock. !*don-know!*

Guys, I am finding that Newegg, has competition. Microcenter is beating newegg in almost EVERY aspect on pricing for computers, and individual parts for computers. I just spent the last two weeks on both their websites, building a machine. I built identical i5-7600s and i7-7700s on both sites. For a new, homebuilt i7-7700, micro center was a few hundred bucks cheaper. And being lucky enough to actually have a micro center store here in Denver, I saved a couple hundred more on top of that! I went into the store with my shopping cart loaded in my cell, and started grabbing my parts. A sales rep then started telling me that my various selections bundled as I was doing them, were giving me even more discounts, which allowed me to by some better quality parts. I know not everybody, has a micro center store. But they are definitely beating new egg pricing online, and if you can get into a store to buy the items, it's even cheaper. I am beyond happy with this new machine.
