Railheads polished to a real reflective shine.
Nice transitions, smooth grade changes, and gentle superelevation.
No cab sway yet, but the superelevation subtly tilts the cab view.
Little mileposts, cast concrete whistle posts, some lengths of discarded rail or a stack of ties here and there, just as it should be along a heavy duty transport artery.
Hopefully, once the game evolves, there will be more track types, both heavier and lighter than the present track, rusty rails, concrete ties, etc. Perhaps some working derails and locks are desirable too. Name signs at the control points and on signal cabinets wouldn't go amiss either.
Some switch motors should be on the outside on double track, and bridges should have guard rails.
Signaling is mix old B&O colour position light signals, I believe even to have seen doll arms, and newer replacement signals. It looks pretty authentic to me and the number plates on the intermediates add to the realism and help in orientation since the area is very dense in foliage and sparse in settlements.
Haven't driven all over the big Cumberland yard yet, the tail end of which is out of bounds to all trains.
Well done to the track builders!
