Matt.

Glad to hear that, I definitely wouldn't want to stop and load every individual car like in Railworks *!rolleyes!*

Given there is put some emphasis on ground operations, with a hint of future VR headset controls (the white 'action' dot in the middle, IIRC correctly from the beta), it could be a possibility in future MP supported incarnation.
It obviously needs to be implemented, i.e. teleport location, stairs leading up to a control cabin, doors that open and close, a seat with a row of handles in front of it, etc, etc.
Few people probably want to volunteer for that dog's job of pulling a lever when a car passes below the chute for 80 times a train I suppose.

Wasn't there an operators cabin on the Cumberland turntable one actually had to enter to make the turntable move?
I only remember the fueling operation where the wriggling hose had to be connected.

Yes, the turntable has an cabin with the controls.

From http://www.glitchfreegaming.com/news/tr ... nouncement (add'l formatting mine).

Advanced users will have the choice of using fully functioning in-cab controls with no prompts, UI or highlights. These include digital displays, all braking systems and slow speed controls for coal loading.

Gary wrote this article about the coal hoppers, are all of the other freight cars included with the base game loadable/unloadabale as well, please? I appreciate that we don't have any grain silos, or, petrochemical refineries on this particular route, but, it was just something I was thinking about for the future. !!*ok*!!
