I tried the free roam activity but couldn't get it to load properly. I have to give you credit for trying. That's more than i could have done.

Patience. This provider is starting to allow mods on some rolling stock, if it goes well they could extend this to other products.

katyusha454 - I should probably be more specific. Feel to modify the product however, the distribution of modifications is not permitted. Simply put, since 2004 we've tested this theory and we've learned that repaints of engines/rolling stock lowers demand for our business and future projects. Our aim is to create detailed models down to the bolt for each phase + all the railroad specific prototypical detail. If we permitted repaints lets say our SP Gp40-2 and someone created a BN repaint and distributed then why would anyone want to purchase an upcoming BN GP40 with BN specific detail? It doesn't make business sense and it's simply not sustainable. I understand your perspective though- trust me, I love repainting things... It's tough for us to make the call but our emotions aside this is whats best for our business and it's what has allowed us to still be around for the last 10+ years.

Respectfully,

Hello, I'm running into a few issues with these. I've edited an existing scenario to replace the four engines with four of these GP40's. I've gone through each engine and (I think) done a proper start-up: Engine Run, Gen Field, Control and Fuel Pump switches to on (up), isolation switch to on. When I put the lead unit's reverser into forward I don't get the increase in RPM's that I would expect, and then when I increase the throttle it still remains at idle (254 rpm).

Also, the windshield wiper for the engineers window doesn't clear the rain away. The dial for the middle windshield wipers do not turn the wipers on.

It does sound awesome though, I love the horn.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

Place your support questions to the following email that way our team can see them and assist- railworks@rrmods-rw.com

That said, make sure you use the startup procedure before activating the wipers. Also, if you have the speed too high it won't clear the window. Let me know if this helps.

UP's Mission Bay about to start it's run from So City down to Santa Clara on the Gilroy route. Well done RRMods / Aaron! The weathering really captures the SP at the end. Now if only an SP version was available with the full lights package... hint... hint. *!!thnx!!*

I think you're spot on with the Gyralite motion. It has that unmistakable sweeping action. And nice touch with getting the red signal light to activate when the train goes into emergency.

As far as "modifying", you can polish a turd, but its still a turd

Some fantastic repaints out there, don't get me twisted, but if the models a pos in and out, doesnt seem worth it to me

This thing looks amazing, in and out. I need to pick this up

Will there be any more installments of RRMods' locomotives from their extensive Trainz catalog?

I know Buzz but i just stumbled across em, one heck of a grave digger topic or not *!lol!*

Kinda confusing though searching for these online. There seem to be several websites !*don-know!*

Was trying to research if they work well and are still supported etc. May make going back to Donner worth it imo

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts. Got pretty busy in the aviation world. We still have content in the works though.

Since repaints are not allowed to be distributed, do you have any other skins coming in the future?
