Looking for a Ce-1 Caboose with brakeman passenger view, please?

Unread postby ex-railwayman » Sat Nov 11, 2017 6:29 am

I've had a look at a few items from my Steam collection with included DLC rolling stock packs, etc, however, mostly it just says Caboose in the Bin File, which isn't very helpful, and opening every .AP file hasn't really been very successful. So, can any of you experts on here please point me in the right direction of a Ce-1 Caboose, which must have a passenger view for the brakeman. I don't mind if it is freeware, or, even 3rd party payware, I have nearly every DLC pack from Steam of all the North American routes and locomotives, I just need to know where to look, and it doesn't matter which Railroad Company livery it is in, as such, although, UP, SP, Conrail, ATSF and NS would be ideal. BNSF payware packs I can't buy due to the licence restriction.

Thank you.

Have a look in the following ''Western Pacific C-40-3 Caboose'' repaint. If my memory is correct, I included 4 views : 2 platforms + 2 cupolas (forward+backwards). the file is in this RWA library. Copy-Paste the necessary portion of the .bin file to any caboose (might have to tweak the lenght wise dimension as not all models have identical dimensions).

I've published a brakeman passenger view for the HSC caboose here:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... ccessories

It is easy to reuse and adapt it for your preferred caboose.

Tutorials about creating and moving passenger cameras and any other child objects are available in our learning center:

Thank you so much for your replies Gents. Unfortunately Bernard, I don't have the CabForwardPack01, it's one of those that I haven't acquired yet, however, I have put it to the top of my wishlist for the Thanksgiving Sale at the end of this month on Steam, so I can have a play with your repaints then.

And I am busy looking through these tutorials that you have pointed me towards Chacal, so, thanks a lot for those, some interesting reading to be done.

I have found a Cupola Caboose with a Passenger view (Brakeman's position) finally, it's in the SCL U36B pack on Steam, I've had to open virtually every one of my .AP files to search through all the freight folders, what a waste of half a day that's been.
