Not sure if Fan Railer's mod for the Coaster fully working or not

I downloaded and installed Fan Railer's physics mod for the San Diego Coaster. The readme file says that one of the things the mod changes is the fuel tank capacity of the loco (in gallons of diesel) as shown on the F4 HUD, from 4800 gallons to 1800 gallons. When I checked the F4 Hud, it did show 1800 gallons. (Before installing the mod, it showed 4800 gallons) However, when I checked the engine information data listed on the top-left of the screen in white letters/numbers using the F5 key (which keeps track of the gallons of fuel remaining as you proceed) it still reflected the 4800 gallons on-board at the beginning of the trip, not 1800 gallons.

This led me to wonder if the mod was correctly installed or if, more likely, the mod did not change the gallons-on-board figure for the F5 engine data.

Any comments appreciated.

Bob

You can Private Message (PM) FanRailer on this forum. He probably knows more of whats going on. I do remember he sometimes includes bin files in extra folders for different types of locomotives. If the original file is there try to copy it over to the main directory and overwrite the current files. It's possible the old default file was there by mistake.
