Doesn't screenshot folder (I assume from the button in the HUD) defaults to your pictures folder.

If you use F12 it goes into your steam/x/x/x/ folder with a date in the file name. If you use the camera button in the HUD it goes in your picture folder with a route name and gps location in the file name.

But let me rephrase....

Nope what?

That's how it works for me so you can take a shot and not have to type in a location when testing.

So what are you trying to do? If you need the GPS location grab it out of your pic folder or just use F12 and have them go where you want.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do not need the GPS location. I would like to define in what folder the HUD-Screen-Shots-feature stores the screen shot.

If you don't need the GPS location just hit F12, you already have that set up where you want it to go. What's the problem?

The HUD shots can't be changed.

Thanks. That was the first answer to my question.

Too bad it can not be done, because for F12 I need a KEy Board and it does not have the route name.

I had hoped there is a settings or ini file somewhere that I can tweek

If I may ask, what is the problem with screenshots being stored in "My pictures"? Why do you want to change this?
