Sherman Hill - GTEL

Unread postby Derek » Wed Sep 21, 2016 9:55 am

Just to let you know that the GTEL has now been rolled in with Sherman Hill.

so if you have Sherman Hill (TS2016 or not) you should now get the GTEL.

Edit: you can not buy the GTEL on its on it's own though.

Great but bittersweet news for those that bought it before. But this is no different than when a route is eventually bundled with a yearly edition of the sim. It's how I got Sherman Hill in the first place. Good move DTG. !!*ok*!!

The content is not in the SD40-2 Independence collection: https://steamdb.info/sub/29045/

UP SD60M and TSR content also added to free to the standalone Sherman Hill steam sub: https://steamdb.info/sub/18024/

I bought Sherman Hill a few years back as a stand alone route. Does this mean I have the GTEL now?

I'm sure it'll take time to get everyone squared away but yes, if you own Sherman Hill in any sense you should be getting the GTEL and the SD60M.

I personally have not had the automatic download happen yet.

I think it was either on American Powerhaul or Sherman Hill's DLC page, but there is a button that says you can get the full working GTEL here by clicking the button. But that might have changed.

Calm down children. Sometimes you have to exit Steam (heaven forbid) and then log back in to initiate a D/L like this.

One other thing that may be helpful. It is not listed in the menus as GTEL, it is listed as UP 8,500 HP Gas Turbine.
