Problem starting CSX Heavy Haul Beta

I purchased the package that contained the CSX Heavy Haul Beta. I don't care about foreign railroads, but I am very interested in the CSX Heavy Haul.
I started using HH just before Christmas (can't remember the exact date). It did look intriguing to me. The next morning I tried to open it again. It gave me the following message: "Error--Failed to start Game (missing executable). See Steam support site for more information".
I did that, I performed all of their suggestions, but it still failed. Before I Tried to launch the program that next morning I downloaded Windows updates for Office. It still didn't work. I then restored the machine to the date that the updates were installed hoping the updates were the culprit. No luck.
I am running Windows 7 with Office 10.
Is it possible Dovetail pulled the program after the deadline, or is there a fix you might suggest.

I don't own heavy haul, but I think it has already expired.

It has expired on the 21st.

That sounds about right. I purchased it on the 20th. I remember seeing nothing that they would stop running it on that date. As I remember the add said it would be unavailable after the 21st. I assumed that meant that it could not be purchased after that date. Not that one would not be able to run it after that date.

I thought the last day to purchase the Pioneer package was the day before the beta started, which was sometime around 12/08?
