If you've been following DTM's facebook page, you would know they're making an SDP40F and the Southwest Limited. I'm very excited for this as they are making ex-ATSF Hi-Levels. That means a lot of repaint potential and lots of fun for the Pacific Surfliner, Cajon Pass, and Racetrack routes.

Since Matt Donnelly was kind enough to release the Amtrak Paint Scheme and Logo Branding Guide to the public, I made sure to give the guys at DTM a copy. Expect the colors to be the most accurate you've ever seen. I can't wait for it to be finished, who's with me?

I see an El Capitan in the near future with those hi-levels!

I actually live near Portland, OR where the last SDP40F was stored for the longest time.

I think we'd all love to see Santa Fe versions. All it would really take is some child objects for the number and roadname plates.

Notched nose? If you're talking about trying to create an FP45 we already have an ATSF FP45.

They cut notches in the noses of SDP40Fs in the late 80s and early 90s so that acces to the nose door wasn't so difficult.

Ah yes, I saw BigBoyMoon's post about the BN F45 and forgot the thread is about the FP

It's actually about an SDP40F, which Santa Fe bought some of off Amtrak and chopped into an SDF40-2 which is what the other guys are asking about. Someone said that we already have an FP45, which is incorrect. We don't have an FP45 or SDF40-2 yet.

I'm sure you guys understood what I meant by FP45. We all know that repaint exists, it's close enough.
