Hello everyone, I leave some images of the model state in which I am working, remember that I am more than 8000 km away from the locomotives and photos posted on internet does not make easier working with details.

That's just amazing, Hector! Don't think just because there's significant distance between you and the locomotives you are modeling that it's impossible to do an accurate job. Keep up the good work, Hector.

Looks superb Hector! They're perfect for the NY-NH or Pacific Surfliner routes for switching around passenger cars around LAUPT or Sunnyside Yard. They'll be great on the yard around the old NEC's 30th Street Station.

I'm glad you like the model, estimated Hack, answering your question this locomotive had only one paint scheme in Amtrak than I know for the pictures I saw and that is what they are using today.

Now I have a Question for horn experts: what would like to know is what type or model are used on these locomotives since I saw some photos that are 4 different tones and other photos appear that is 5 tones?.

Greetings from Argentina

Nathan Airchime K5LA. There's plenty of pictures around on the internet to model off of too. :) One of the GP15Ds had an M5 on it for a while there, but that was only for a short time.

BNSFdude, thanks for the information, now I need to consult if any of you have images of the cab of these locomotives to finish detailing the model (back wall and front wall Conductor´s side), because with those that are available, much can not be done.

Good evening everyone, I leave these images that would almost last in 3ds max since it now only remains the work of textures and export the game and testing.

Actually after doing a little research the only buyers of the GP15D were Amtrak AND CIT Group (CEFX). Each company bought 10 locomoties for a total of 20 produced.

Although I must note that the CEFX version does have the high visibility cab (bigger windows)
