There may be updates bringing the stock to TS2016 standards similar to how Donner Pass was updated to TS2014 standards (Lens flares). The Sherman Hill stock may receive lens flares, or even the braking system. It is highly likely the Sherman Hill assets will be packaged as an .ap file.

It's basically trainspotting.. It's like quick drive, without the driving, where you're basically in one spot of your choosing, I'm assuming, watching random trains passing you by. Also provides you with the opportunity to take photos.

I think it's total route miles, tracks one and two, and three.

Well buzz... how about telling us EXACTLY what we can and can't say about TS2016 so you don't end up deleting our posts.

How about NOT saying something silly like "I won't buy this because it's nothing new." Or they should have "blah blah blah". How about something like I sure hope the weather is half as neat as the trailer without the "since DTG is doing it it's bound to be screwed up" or "it will probably not work since it will bring my $99 notepad frame rates down". !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!

Can someone answer me a question please? I was on Wikipedia today looking at something completely devoid of trains, but, I went on to the XBox One page, which I understand is the newer version of Xbox, and the CPU statistics shown was 1.75GHz, what???? It also stated that with the Memory only 5 GB is available for games, well, the new German routes being released now recommend a minimum of 8GB to play sufficiently. With the resource hungry features in the current game and possibly even more higher in the new Unreal Engine 4, isn't the Xbox One totally underpowered for our little game, or, is there something I'm not understanding, somewhere?

The cpu is a AMD 8 core at 1.7ghz. that I think is about the same as a intel cpu i5 of 3.4ghz.
Intel i5-10600K CPU, Asus TUF GAMING Z490-Plus (Wi-Fi) MB, Graphics Asus RTX 3060 TI 8GB OC TUF gaming card Windows 11 Home 64 bit, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 ram, Viewsonic VX2728 LED 1080P FHD Monitor, Samsung 1TB SSD + other conventional drives, Corsair 750W PSU.

Trev you didn't address the real question which is the 5 gigs vs 8 gigs.

Don't forget that consoles are literally very specialized and optimized PCs. They don't have the same OS ram usage overhead as a typical Windows PC.

While it is recommended that one have 8GB of total ram to play the German route, how much of that ram is actually being used by TS20xx for the route? Chances are pretty good that it is less than 4GB. An optimized PC with similar specs to the XBox One has good chance of running the route with minimal stuttering at best with less than 8GB free ram.

EDIT: Not sure where the XBox One having 5GB ram comes from. Everything I have seen says it has 8GB.
