Regarding the Krellnut sounds, I also noticed there are all new bogie and joint sounds. For some reason they aren't present in the existing Krellnut DLC package. Also interested what is the flat/perfect wheel rate in Sherman Hill as the freeware Krellnut wagon sound has variable settings.

The reason it takes longer is there are a lot more assets to load since there is much more detail in the scenery. Is there a question somewhere in the second paragraph?

Perhaps some restructuring of the sentence could help: "What is the flat/perfect wheel rate for the stock in Sherman Hill? I ask because the freeware Krellnut wagon sound has variable settings."

...am I getting close to identifying any possible question OpenRailer90? *!question!*

Actually, the on/off combination is CTRL+A, so there's no interference with the B for bell key press.

Sidebar: the manual for TS2016 can now be downloaded from its store page on Steam. According to a customer support representative, the manual should automatically download soon for all who have purchased the update. He didn't mention whether those settling for the free upgrade will get it as well.

Tried it last night. I Intentionally drove poorly to see how quickly it could catch me. After a while I drove like I knew I should and it ceased helping me.

The freeware Krellnut sound pack has bat files for changing the frequency of flat and perfect wheels. The Sherman Hill Krellnut sounds do not have any variable setting, but it happens to have a lot of perfect wheels. The SH sounds also have brand new bogie joint sounds that are not in the freeware version and are a fair step up in realism; better than the stock DTG US joint sounds that were used ever since the release of the Dash 9 and older SD70 packs in 2010.

Yeah, in some ways the new Sherman Hill sounds are more realistic, IE track joints, but the sounds are so low I can't hardly hear them, which is why I reinstalled Krellnut's pack.
The lower frequency in flat spots is more realistic, usually.
I noticed a couple of very quiet trains on the Transcon a few months back. It made me wonder if BNSF cracked down on the car owners, that are tearing up their track.

They're not bat files, they're proxyxml.

I supplied the joint sounds and Adam did an awesome job getting them in game. But I also find the wagon sounds too quiet, so I'm sticking with my original pack.

The proxyxml DTG used for the wagon sounds was; 75%. That will mean alot of perfect wheels. I originally had setup 50% for them.

I know that they are proxyxml files; what I am saying that the bat files install different proxyxml files for the freight cars.
