We are just talking at each other not to each other Marc. Sorry if I am trying to make this sound like it's not a issue. If I try this on my laptop I can get a cup of coffee and make a fried egg sandwich before it gets loaded. That's why I don't use it. This is not a super hot rod computer. I have a fast video card but the computer probably isn't even mid range nowadays.

TS2016. 40 secs to load the game. 20 secs to bring up standard scenario list, 40 secs to load a scenario, I think the time varies here depending on the complexity of the scenario. TS 2016 seems to be no slower on my PC than TS2015. I suppose it also depends on how much DLC you have installed too.

My apologies Buzz. I didn't mean to sound that I was trying to talk over you or simply just bitch about things. *!embar*!

My point is that as a developer, I do my best so that those who use my stuff won't need a hot (or medium) rig to use them. I scream and yell a lot because I'm looking at things a bit differently than most folks. The lowest common denominator is simply a base line I use and is an illustration of performance gaps between builds. On a better PC, the changes would be negligible, but after a period of time things add up. When you're not looking for trouble you might not see it until much later. I see it right away. Not many keep these old versions, but I do just in case something goes south (OK, so I'm a pack rat - I also have RS installed for certain things it can do in a fraction of time than in TS).

Nevertheless, this old rig will soon get retired, the newer one will take its place, and still a newer one will sit at the ready. Such is the cycle of (PC) life. :D

It might at that. I'll try a few more things over the weekend.

Not aware of any issues, but please if you do find anything odd, email support.
They gather the information to pass onto the dev team.

It takes 2 seconds for the menu to come up after you like click on the free roam. I chose the Marias Pass Scale Rail version. It took 10 seconds for the route to load. I will do the same thing with my 2014 and see what the times are.

2014 14seconds. 2 seconds. 1 second. 25 seconds.

Not enough time for me to get a cup of coffee.

I agree, but then my entertainment does not center on bashing RSC.
