I don't know what a coal porter is but the answer on the ES is yes.

The NS locos still have the much less advanced brakes (not the ones I did for SH). It's a pity, I know.

I just fired it up 30 minutes ago. I love the blue and white font color, as it is much easier on the eyes I think. No crashes here.

I noticed for some reason there are too many Quick Drive entries for the Sherman Hill locomotives. Also I am impressed with the new EMD 710 sounds.

And do the Krellnut wagon sounds come in this package?

These are the Krellnut sounds. Nice catch.

No problems here so far. The first time I loaded the game after downloading the free update things didn't go well but after a quick reboot everything seems to work fine.
I did a quick run with the SH SD70M and was pleased to find the new independent brake bail-off feature. I did notice an inconsistency between the HUD display & the brake cylinder gauge: when the engine brake is bailed off, the pressure on the gauge drops to 0 but remains at 15psi on the HUD. I haven't done any further testing to see if this inconsistency has any effect on the locomotive's performance, i.e. is the brake actually bailing off or just visually changing on the gauge...

I am also wondering how Track 3 can be driven as there is an entirely new Quick Drive scenario. Did PennCoal get the new sounds also present in the Sherman Hill GEVO?

I have a gripe that is not game related. I have no problem with having to give information to buy a product. But not being able to opt out of newsletters or spam mailing is BS. This pop-up that comes up on the screen at the beginning the game, asking for email, name, and b-day, has an opt-out check-cube, but it does not work and the pop-up comes back with each game restart. If you don't put in your info and hit dismiss, you get an error. I put in bogus info on my desktop install just to get rid of it, and now the thing is popping up on my laptop, even though it is used under the same Steam account.

Does anyone know how I would be able to grab the new joint sounds and copy them over to other routes?

I opted out on the first boot up and it's yet to return for me (I'm just using the free update). I do have a couple minor issues.... my screen stays completely black when loading a route (although my Nvidia fps counter is still present) instead of DTG DLC ads. Also...I've got the random engine sounds in the menus, but the music is gone. !*don-know!*

Yes, the loading screen are black: a nice, restful, unobtrusive black. RCS will probably begin pumping out load-delaying DLC ads again soon, but I'm not in any hurry to see them. The Fraps counter tells me whether something is happening or the loader is taking a nap. What union does that guy belong to, anyway?
