What is the difference between the workshop and the file that is in here? Thank you.

There isn't, the RWA modifies the original one and the Donner Redux in the workshop creates a new route, either way your still getting the great scenery upgrade *!greengrin!*

Yes. I decided to post up the whole route, because I had reports of people not being able to make Workshop scenarios for the original Donner Pass Southern Pacific and upload them to Steam, with my mod installed.
Posting the whole route up keeps it safe from changes made to Donner by Dove Tail and people can write all the scenarios they want and post them to the Workshop.

My original mod allows people to download and use Workshop scenarios for Donner Pass Southern Pacific. IE those older scenarios don't go to waste.

The trackwork is the same and I've been wondering if there is something in the scenario.xml files that could be renamed and then the older scenarios used in the Donner Pass Redux.
A person can't just copy and paste the scenarios from the old route to the new one.

I suspect renaming entries in the .xml files won't work. There are numbers in the files as well, that I suspect code each scenario to a particular route.

I'm a child of the 70s and that's what I prefer. As far as super elevation, there was some on the original Donner but it was too much, read high angle, and improperly done anyways. Most of it had no easements and the trains rolled in at too much of an angle and very clunky.
Quite a few people don't seem to care that DTG had people driving through cuts that were miles long with little to no shrubbery and solid granite for mile after mile.
Or the fact that landmarks like Bloomer Cut and Cape Horn were completely wrong or not there at all.
A whole lot of persons are obsessed with super elevation even if the rest looked completely wrong... and the route is very slow in most spots.
It's all besides the fact that Donner Pass Redux was a project that went over 950 hours of work (I stopped counting there) because it's one of the longest routes in our sim.
