Help with child object orientation

Unread postby gkbaldwin » Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:13 pm

Hi;

I need some help with the child object orientation. Here is what I am doing. I saw someone else had added a rear end conductor and brakeman to the Kuju caboose (cupola) as child objects to the caboose. The only problem they are facing the wrong way (facing the back of the chair (see picture). It characters need to be rotated 180 degrees. I cannot figure out how one does the using the matrix in the caboose bin file. I know which lines control the x, y, z positions, but cannot figure out which one controls the rotation of the child object. Is this even possible (to flip the child object 180 degrees relative to the parent object? Any help here would be appreciated.

Regards, Gerry
