Goodness, Gracious: Great balls of German freight!

The Munich-Augsburg and Hamburg-Hannover routes aren't just for passenger runs in ICE trains. An outfit called FH Productions Group has uploaded a series of freight shunting scenarios for both routes to Steam Workshop. The scenarios are not particularly difficult or challenging, but very interesting as they cover remote corners of these routes. Here are a few screenshots from a night-time example:

Well, I'll be darned: he sure knows how to put together a shunting scenario! Thanks for this information and kudos to Frank.

My pleasure! Glad you like them. And yes, they are not very challenging, as most people would shy away from them. They're just meant to be fun and as you said, they show some areas you hardly ever see.
And thanks for the plug!

I'm always willing and happy to promote good work. Here's hoping that your shunting series on German routes isn't over. I haven't tried any of your American scenarios yet, but probably will do so soon.

Maybe you should think again about people shying away from challenging Steam Workshop scenarios? I've put up about half a dozen, most with "hard" to "very hard" degrees of difficulty. Yes, I've received some whining comments and a few outright condemnations, but most reactions have been positive and downloads still continue. If you'd like to take a look, search for tompallen. Sanctus bos! I see that I now have a "workshop". Wonder when the first rent bill will arrive? Meanwhile, I'd better start cleaning up my work area, before they declare it a disaster zone.

I tried a couple of these and enjoyed them a lot. We need more of these - simple freight activities using default stock. ( PS daytime preferred so we can enjoy the scenery! )

Very nice and much appreciated!

Tom, what do you go by in the workshop? I tried "Old Prof" and "Tom Pallen" but didn't get anything. I'm always looking for harder scenarios. Thanks!

I just added Frank as a followed author. :D
