So all of the attention last week concerning the crash in Quebec, I started thinking about the San Bernardino crash and pipeline explosion from 1989. Rereading articles about this incident, it stuck me that I have the Cajon pass content for Railworks, and look up the section of track where the accident occurred. While thinking about trying to drive a similar consist down that track, and either succeeding, or having a similar fate to what happened in reality, I discovered that the section of track ends at a portal about a mile or so before where the train derailed.
Even though I mean no disrespect for those that lost their lives in that tragedy, I still feel upset that this historical section of track was not included.
