Doing some work on Amtrak

Unread postby SithMurcielago » Sat Jul 13, 2013 8:36 pm

I've been working since last night doing some fine tuning with sounds and a few other stuff for the superliners and the F40PH that came with them. I have a few questions to ask and if i can get this done I can release this.

1. Is the current horn on the F40 from RSC accurate? i listened to different horns on the F40PH but from different time periods.

2. Even though I brought the original Phase IVb Superliners with the Genesis and unfortunately can't get them anymore, would those schemes work on these new PH-3 Superliner variants? If not anyone wanna help me repaint them because I'm bored of the PH-3 versions.

3. Anyone got quality sounds of the clickty clack from an Amtrak train? They are generally the same between the Amfleet, viewliners and Superliners. I never heard or rode in the horizons.

Thanks ya'll

The horn is correct, but the scripting is flawed. I've been spending some time working on it, but I have other projects going.

It could do with some decent cab sway settings as well. It's a hateful thing to drive from the cab IMHO.

No idea how you do it though, or what the settings would need to be. !*don-know!*
"Life is like a journey, taken on a train
With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."
