Could someone please tell me what kind of engine this is?

I believe that's a Mountain, albeit it's not designed for heavy grades due to driver size - used primarily on flat terrain.

Yep just found this. It was saved from scrap, i knew that but always wondered what it was. I need this built so i can finish my route. *!sad!*

Isn't that the GN P-2 Mountain that's not far from where Woody (BNSFdude) lives? The one I'm going to do after the UP FEF-3 :D
