Anyone remeber the good ol' days?

Unread postby 5292nate » Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:38 pm

Hi guys. After you saw the title and then laughed when you saw it was my post, I'll tell you what I mean. Any one remember these? Is there anyway to get this back? Particularly, the gradient reading. I can't stand the current one. Also, I see many people with different ones. Different buttons, designs etc. How can I change the current F3 hud to something different?

Thanks guys.

No image is showing and you can't spell very good yet either. Look at your title. In the good ol days we would have cut you a new suit for that.

Are you serious? Anyway, thanks for pointing out the image problem...

RemeMber not remeber. Yeah in the old days people who mispelled all the time got ragged on a lot. I used to get it all the time as I hate to back space and correct.

Are you talking about the pop up window with info on the signals and track speeds? I miss that too.

Yea I remember the F3 display. What sucks doesn't show station ahead.

I agree. I liked using the F3. It gave a better idea of the grade and whether it was uphill or down. It also showed when the change was coming. The biggest thing I miss is the "next signal state". Now we have to press the "TAB" key to get an indication as to whether it's red or not. The 2D map is not very good as it Most times shows the color of the reverse signal if they are both on the same stand and some of the routes don't even show the signal lights on 2D map at all.

The best thing about the good old days is they are over.
