Tori needs some info re Markers

Unread postby ozinoz » Mon Apr 22, 2013 6:50 pm

Hi,

I didn't want to post this in the scenarios forum because there isnt enough activity there and I didn't want it missed. I don't have enough experience to answer but can anybody here help ?

Apologies for the cross posting, but we need to do our part in helping Tori bring the next version of the COA to life for us...

Cheers

I don't know if this the right way, but I rename both fields for the end user. This makes it easier for me too! !**duh*!!
Cheers!

Take no chance and use the same name for both fields.

First, I only assign a name to a marker if it will be used by the player train; second, I typically change only the marker's local name: the one that actually appears in instructions. I have no particular reason for this behavior, it's just what I do.

This is an attempt to rename some previously mislabeled markers. By changing only the "Name" field and not the "Internal Name" previously written scenarios are not broken. I just hope not to unknowingly create a troubleshooting nightmare down the road.
