OK, so I gets to thinking here we have a wonderful loco living in splendid isolation.

Mike has clearly spent AGES creating a loco pretty much as good as it can be. For us.

Now why don't we, as a community, consider creating the following as freeware so as to get the very best from Connie?

1. Repaints of appropriate boxcars, flatcars, cabeese etc.
2. Quickdrive files for Connie and the above repaints.
3. At least a small section of the AT&N route.

Just an idea. **!!2cents!!**

MadMike has made several boxcars which should work nicely. They are in the library.

I've used the consolidation on the Cimarron & Pacific and the MC&SA 1920s routes. Michael Stephan's steam-era freight cars are naturals.

In addition to which, a handful of these veteran machines survived the War (i.e. WWII) on shortlines, mostly in the Deep South, often operating side-by-side with a 44-Tonner or two, into the '50s. At least two such survivors, along with a 44-Tonner, formed the motive power for one of the earlier (and more successful) tourist haulers, the 2-8-0 having outlived the 44-Tonner in active service. There's an abundance of uses in a reasonably broad range of eras for this little teakettle.

Something I want to do next year is a route, a historical one that would be suitable for the Connie.
