HELP needed

okay im getting ready to head out to college. What classes would i take to where i would be tought how to build 3d models and stuff like railworks???

3D Studio Max classes. Then get the student copy of it.

You will need to look through your course catalog to find it. Try 3D Modeling or Graphic Arts, or Design. If it states 3DS Max then it will help.

i went through my catalog for college and i came up with Computerized Graphic Design. would that help?

Maybe, but it may also have a larger scope than 3D modeling.
It may have a 3D modeling part, but also a CAD part, with tools such as AutoCad.

I'd need the course description.

A college friend of mine says you need to be taking engineering as thats where all the 3D modeling is used.

my bad. there is engineering and then electrical and computer engineering.
